A new you. . .

Let's toast, shall we?

Here's hoping that 2007 is all that you dream. . .here's hoping as knitters we strive to knit more and stash less. . . here's hoping that with each knitted item, we find pleasure in the journey and not simply the FO. . . here's hoping you have more FO than not. . .here's hoping we read up on other knitting blogs to "stay in the loop. . ." here's hoping I have more pics to share of many completed sock pairs. . .and most of all. . .here's hoping that we spend a moment to treasure what is truly important. . . staying in the moment and listening to the quiet voice which guides you. . .today it is telling me to shut up and post the final WIP for the year:

Happy 2007 all!!

It's beginning to feel a lot like. . .

Christmas? Ooh, I know, the pic is a bit tired--but so am I. I promise to come up with a better representation of Christmas cheer before the big day!

Quickies are sometimes good. . .

Sometimes as a knitter, I need a little instant gratification. I decided to knit a couple of wash cloths. I bought a few skeins of "cotton tots" and tried my Denise US 7's.

After trying some color, I decided to partially work the design from Knitting the Easy Way. . .simple, simple and quick, quick and simple. Just the thing when you are fighting "knitting blues."

All things work together for good. . .

When I awake each morning, I make it a point to pray. I need to do this. Just so that I can get to the next day. . .and the next prayer. I say this not because I consider myself holier than thou, just because it is a craaazzzzyyy world we live in. It is the only thing that keeps me sane.

****due to the fact that it's a small world after all, I've decided that 5 days was enough time for the original post to stay out in cyberspace. Unfortunately, if you didn't read it then, you are stuck with this barren post. For those who know me, I will dish on Wednesday at the weekly SnB.****

Ah, well. Guess I will go and put in an extra prayer. One of release. I just have to let it go.
